Well articulated. The resilience and character building opportunities the the defence forces environment offers kids is unmatched.

Your perspicuity in authoring this incisive article on 'army brats' is much appreciated sir. Does it suggest a Forces background on your part?

Very well analysed article. Children have innocent mind and therefore corporate prefer army veterans children for their quality of hardworking and dedication.

Quite true about the trails and tribulations experienced by the army kids. However , I believe that it is the unique brotherhood and camaraderie seen in all army camps that support them and make them ready to take on the world

I agree--- this safety-net perhaps encourages them to take risks, rather than being perpetually "risk-averse".

Quite thoughtful article about natural traits imbibed by kids of Army Officers. Another important feature is about Physical fitness. Kids are groomed for physical fitness when they see that their father get's up early morning and go for PT and evening games are compulsory too. During peace time, Defence Officers and ranks don't have long official working hours and they get plenty of time for games. So it's a great advantage of Army life which is fading away in Civilian life due to Social media addiction and irregular working hours and late night work culture from home.

If I may add reasonably good sports facilities are available in Army for kids and there are well stocked libraries in the cantonments.

excellent observation.

i asked my daughter for her comments. not only she fully agrees being part of the gang. she has also given new meaning to the term "Fauji Brat" as " Fauji kid 'Born, Raised And Transfered' (to civil life)" 🥰
