It is a sad news. Bir Devinder was a unique personality as revealed by KBS. I watched him as President SSF, Akali MLA, then Congress MLA, and leaving Congress. He was the best orator and a public figure on the political horizon of Punjab.
So sad to know about the demise of Bir Devinder Singh. When I was DC Patiala from June 1982 to September 1984 he was MLA from the Fatehgarh Sahib constituency. I had a good equation with him. In fact we were friendly. I had done development work whenever he me and also done development work at the recommendation of Chief Minister Darbara Singh who was Chairman of the Fatehgarh Sahib Development Board. His passing away is a great personal loss. Punjab has lost an upright political stalwart and its great son. May God bestow peace on him. Om shanti 🙏🙏
