🔷 Introductory Note:
This pauri stands in reverent awe of the immeasurable spiritual stature of the Brahm Giani. Guru Arjan Dev Ji humbly confesses that such a being cannot be fully known, measured, or described. The mystery and majesty of a God-conscious being transcend human intellect and language. Here, the Guru offers expressions of wonder, surrender, and profound admiration, emphasizing that only a Brahm Giani can truly comprehend another of the same elevated state. The concluding note urges eternal bowing in reverence—not to a person, but to the divinity manifested through them.

Gurmukhi:
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੀ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਨਾਹਿ ॥
Hindi Transliteration (Devanagari): ब्रहम गिआनी की कीमति नाहि ॥
English Transliteration (Italicised): Barahm gi▫aanee kee keemaṯ nāhi.
English Translation: The God-conscious being cannot be appraised.

English Translation: The God-conscious being is the Master of all.

English Translation: Who can declare the limits of the God-conscious being?

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੀ ਗਤਿ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਜਾਨੈ ॥
Hindi Transliteration (Devanagari): ब्रहम गिआनी की गति ब्रहम गिआनी जानै ॥
English Transliteration (Italicised): Barahm gi▫aanee kee gaṯ barahm gi▫aanee jānai.
English Translation: Only the God-conscious being can know the state of a God-conscious being.

ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਅੰਤੁ ਨ ਪਾਰੁ ॥

English Transliteration (Italicised): Barahm gi▫aanee kā anṯ na pār.
English Translation: The God-conscious being has no end, no limit.

Gurmukhi:
ਨਾਨਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਉ ਸਦਾ ਨਮਸਕਾਰੁ ॥੭॥
Hindi Transliteration (Devanagari): नानक ब्रहम गिआनी कउ सदा नमसकारु ॥७॥
English Transliteration (Italicised): Nānak barahm gi▫aanee ka▫o sadā namaskār. ||7||
English Translation: O Nanak! Bow forever in reverence to the God-conscious being. ||7||
🪔 Essence of the Pauri:
In this reverential pauri, Guru Arjan Dev Ji bows to the incomprehensible spiritual magnitude of the Brahm Giani. No one can measure or define such a being—their mystery defies logic, and their depth cannot be spoken in full. They encompass the minds of all, yet remain beyond the reach of all. Even spiritual language falls short in expressing their essence. Guru Ji teaches that such a soul is so rare and transcendent that only another Brahm Giani can understand their spiritual state. The appropriate response is not inquiry, but eternal humility and reverence. The pauri concludes with a profound call: forever bow to the God-conscious being, for in them, the infinite dwells visibly on Earth.
