Modi 3.0 Government Horoscope: What Stars Foretell

Assuming the Modi 3.0 Government to be a child born on 9th June 2024 at 7:15 PM in New Delhi, we will use the notional horoscope and make some amateur predictions based on certain assumptions.

Birth of Modi 3.0 Government

PM-designate Narendra Modi is set to be sworn in as the Prime Minister of India for the third successive time at 7:15 PM IST today, the 9th of June, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi. Exactly at the moment he is sworn in and signs the book, the Modi 3.0 Government will officially have been born. Assuming this to be the birth of the new government for astrological purposes, let us draw the horoscope as if it were a newborn child at this given time, date, and place. Although PM Modi took the oath at 7:25 PM, it is assumed that the Lagan does not change. We had updated the chart with the changed Lagan, but we have now been advised that all professional astrologers are assuming that the Lagan remains as Vrishchik (वृश्चिक - Scorpio). Hence, we have reverted back to the original chart and unpublished the “updated” article.

Assumptions Mad and Spoiler Alert

However, we will have to draw some reasonable assumptions to apply the rudimentary laws of astrology, since the central government is not exactly a natural-born human child. These five years indicate a strong BJP (भारतीय जनता पार्टी) - RSS (राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ), which are regarded as the mother of this government. Together, they will dominate the government per se. This does not, however, necessarily mean a comfortable time for Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister in terms of the attitude of his own party as well as the RSS. During these almost five years, there will be constant challenges, and Narendra Modi will require all his political acumen as well as emotional intelligence to handle them. With this spoiler, let’s delve deep into the horoscope analysis.

Taking Oath to head the Modi 3.0 Government, as the Prime Minister.

Health and Strength of the Horoscope

The overall health and strength of the horoscope is determined by the Lagan (लग्न), which in this case is Brishchik (वृश्चिक - Scorpio), the lord of which is Mars (मंगल - Mangal). The lord of the Lagan sits in the sixth house, which is otherwise the house of enemies. However, since the Rashi (राशि - zodiac sign) in the sixth house is that of Aries (मेष - Mesh), Mars (Mangal) being situated in its own house will help in suppressing any potential enemies or political opposition.

Moreover, since the eighth Drishti (दृष्टि - aspect) of Mangal from the sixth house falls into the Lagan, whose lord is Mars (Mangal), this further strengthens the basic structure of this horoscope. The overall essence of this government is a masculine government, if not a muscular one, that will not hesitate to use arms, literally and metaphorically, to suppress external aggression or internal arsonists. At the same time, the opponents, such as they are, will continue to target PM Modi, not only by virtue of the office he holds but also on a personal level. However, they will not be able to cause any significant loss in political power or reputation.

The Fourth House and the Tenth House: The BJP/ RSS and their Influence on the Government

The fourth house ordinarily indicates the house of the mother, and in this case, we would regard this as the party to which PM Narendra Modi belongs – that is the Bharatiya Janata Party (भाजपा - BJP) as well as the RSS. Since the lord of the third and fourth house is situated in the Kendra (center) in the fourth house, and the Rashi (राशि - zodiac sign) in this house is Kumbh (कुम्भ - Aquarius), it is situated in its own house, the fourth house. This indicates that the overall health of the mother party, namely the BJP, would be strong and would be guided by Shani (शनि - Saturn), employing Chanakya-like (चाणक्य) policies to deal with members internally as well as allies externally.

However, the direct Drishti (दृष्टि - aspect) of Shani is on the empty tenth house, whose lord is Surya (सूर्य - Sun), with the Rashi there being Singh (सिंह - Leo). This, in our opinion, implies that the overall management and leadership of the BJP will collectively determine the way the profession, namely the working of the government, would be carried out. In other words, while the government itself is strong and has the nuances of powerful leadership on account of Vrishchik Lagan (वृश्चिक लग्न - Scorpio ascendant), the influence of both the BJP and the RSS (राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ) in the running of this government would be much more predominant than in the Modi 1.0 and Modi 2.0 governments.

The Tenth House and the Seventh House: Profession and Alliances

Staying with the tenth house, which represents profession and the father, we find that the lord of the tenth house, the Sun (सूर्य - Surya), is situated in the seventh house, where the Rashi (राशि - zodiac sign) is Vrishabh (वृषभ - Taurus), the lord of which is Venus (शुक्र - Shukra).

Normally, for a human, the seventh house denotes the house of the spouse, but in this case, we will have to assume that this denotes the house by which we shall infer the partners of the alliance in the NDA/Modi 3.0 government. Since the Sun, the lord of the tenth house, is situated in the seventh house, a great part of the intellectual energy of this government will be spent in dealing with the allies. This horoscope is quite unique because apart from the Sun, Mercury (बुध - Budh), Venus (Shukra), and Jupiter (गुरु - Guru) are also situated in the seventh house. This indicates that the influence of various diverse alliance partners will be cast on the lord of the tenth house, namely Surya (Sun).

Since Venus, the lord of the seventh house, which has Vrishabh Rashi (Taurus) in it, is situated in the seventh house, this government will be supported by female partners to the hilt. This could be in the nature of political allies, BJP leaders, Cabinet Ministers, senior civil servants, or even other feminine leaders, nationally as well as internationally. The presence of Mercury and Jupiter, apart from Venus in the seventh house, will undoubtedly try to influence the Sun, the lord of the tenth house, but as we all know, the Sun is the central star around which all the planets revolve, and hence their capacity to influence it would be limited.

Nevertheless, the fact that the influence is there, and in the seventh house, would indicate continuous and incessant influence on the working of the government. Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, he will be able to tackle these forces with panache.

The Eighth House: Health and Longevity

The eighth house in a horoscope indicates the health as well as the longevity of the native, which in this context, refers to the Modi 3.0 Government. Since we have Mithun Rashi (मिथुन - Gemini) in the eighth house, whose lord is Mercury (बुध - Budh), this results in an average horoscope from a health and longevity perspective. When considering that Mercury is situated in the seventh house, twelve houses away from the eighth house, and surrounded by the Sun (सूर्य - Surya), Jupiter (गुरु - Guru), and Venus (शुक्र - Shukra), it indicates a further weakened horoscope.

While mortality in the nascent years is definitely not indicated, it reflects a government of average health and average growth that will face difficulties and minor ailments throughout its lifespan. The other house ruled by Mercury is the eleventh house, the house of profits and gains, in which Kanya Rashi (कन्या - Virgo) resides. However, Ketu (केतु) is situated in the eleventh house. With Mercury not being in a strong position in this horoscope, as discussed in relation to the eighth house, the eleventh house, the house of profit and prosperity, is further debilitated by the presence of Ketu and the direct malefic Drishti (दृष्टि - aspect) of Rahu (राहु) from the fifth house.

In other words, in terms of overall gain in power and reputation, this government cannot expect much from the constellation at its birth. In fact, there will be incessant efforts to attack those from within his own party, the allies, and, of course, the opposition.

The Twelfth House: Losses and External Relations

The twelfth house, whose lord is Tula Rashi (तुला - Libra), is governed by Venus (शुक्र - Shukra), which is situated in the seventh house. The twelfth house, apart from indicating loss, also signifies travels abroad. The fact that the lord of the twelfth house is situated in the seventh house, surrounded by the Sun (सूर्य - Surya), Mercury (बुध - Budh), and Jupiter (गुरु - Guru), suggests potential losses in the running of the government. This may not only indicate the loss of allies during its tenure but also the loss of critical members of the Cabinet due to resignation, death, or retirement.

Extrapolating travels abroad to external relations, this placement would indicate troubled relations with major partners. However, relations with countries where the leadership is feminine, like Bangladesh, Mexico and Italy, could be relatively stronger.

The Ninth House: Luck and Speculative Ventures

The Moon (चंद्र - Chandra) in the horoscope is very well placed in the ninth house, which has Karka Rashi (कर्क - Cancer). Therefore, the Moon is situated in its own house. This indicates that this is a lucky government, and whenever it embarks on speculative or risky ventures, there are more than even chances of success. Since Karka Rashi and the Moon are essentially feminine in character, such ventures, along with feminine partners, would yield positive results.

The Fifth House: Learning and Succession

The fifth house, having Meen Rashi (मीन - Pisces) as its lord, finds Jupiter (गुरु - Guru) in the seventh house, surrounded not only by the Sun (सूर्य - Surya) but also Mercury (बुध - Budh) and Venus (शुक्र - Shukra). The fifth house generally pertains to children and education, which, in the context of this notional horoscope of the government, would indicate limited learnings from previous as well as concurrent experiences. Since Jupiter is surrounded by various planets and does not have a direct Drishti (दृष्टि - aspect) onto the fifth house, this aspect of the horoscope is rather poor.

The negative aspect is accentuated by the location of the malefic Rahu (राहु) in the fifth house, and of course, the Drishti of Ketu (केतु) directly onto it. In other words, this is not a government that will learn from its previous mistakes; rather, it is doomed to repeat them.

As regards children, it would indicate either the leaders who may follow Prime Minister Modi from within the party or the government that follows him. If one goes by the strict interpretation of the fifth house, this indicates a weak position in both respects. Therefore, it is evident that the Modi 3.0 Government would really be the pinnacle, after which the decline of the BJP and its leaders would begin.

Dasha Periods: Influence and Challenges

The birth of this government takes place during the Jupiter (गुरु - Guru) Mahadasha and Rahu (राहु) Antardasha, which lasts until 25th February 2025. In other words, although the benign influence of Jupiter is present from day one, signifying the blessings of the political gurus of PM Modi, the malefic influence of Rahu afflicting the fifth house would indicate potential murmurs of discontent from the second or third rung of leadership within the BJP, if not its allies, from day 1.

After this period, the Shani (शनि - Saturn) Mahadasha begins, with the Antardasha of Shani within this period lasting until 9th January 2028. This is followed by the Mercury (बुध - Budh) Antardasha till 28th September 2030, and the Ketu (केतु) Antardasha within the Shani Mahadasha extends till the natural five-year span of this government.

The Shani Mahadasha and the corresponding three Antardashas indicate a strong mother party, whether regarded as the BJP or the RSS (राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ). While these would be comparatively strong and remain in good health, this does not necessarily mean an easy-going tenure for Mr. Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister, as discussed hereinbefore. In fact, being relatively stronger, the BJP as a party and the RSS as the mother organization will be in a position to increasingly dominate Mr. Modi, leading to continuous pinpricks throughout his tenure. It will require not only political acumen but also emotional intelligence on the part of PM Modi to tackle all these little irritants effectively.

Before we close, we would like to add a disclosure that we are not a professional or a trained astrologer and have created this article in good faith, given our limited knowledge of astrology and by making suitable assumptions in treating this as the horoscope of a newborn child and applying it to the birth of the Modi 3.0 Government.
